Provide best possible Thorium Energy for the world by stimulation of initiatives; amplification of efforts; and the creation and support of a platform on which the community will thrive.

The world's growing need for energy is based on raising the living standard, which is a good thing. Today this leads to scarce resources and an environmental cost that has a substantial effect on all of us and our planet.

Raising the living standard can’t be met by consuming the same amount or less energy without substantial changes to how we live. Neither can it be met by increased efficiency in most parts of the world. Nor by renewables alone since the living standard demands baseload energy that is variable according to demand and independent of location and time.

Maybe even more important, we must provide energy security and diversity since history has told us that one region can not be entirely dependent on another and if one system fail we need to have others to compensate for it.

Our energy systems must be safe, clean, sustainable and reliable. These systems must also be scalable basically anywhere in the world. Also, we would prefer it to be the most affordable energy the world have yet seen. We need energy miracles!

Thorium Energy, as we will explain, meets the above criteria better than any existing alternative. It presents a truly unique opportunity - indeed it is a super fuel!

Since renewables can not meet the energy demand alone, we need to look at all the other resources on Earth. It turns out there is more Thorium Energy available than in all oil, gas, coal and uranium on Earth combined. Only fusion has higher potential but it’s always 50 years in the future and inevitably expensive, and therefore not viable. Thorium exist on all continents, it is easy to extract, handle and prepare. There are no, and there have never existed any, Thorium weapon programs making it proliferation resistant compared to Uranium. Safe methods of using Thorium exist with no risk for meltdown or explosions. Waste is also drastically reduced in both amount and its lifetime, making it manageable.

Thorium Energy is therefore the logical partner together with renewables to replace fossil fuels, creating energy abundance and sustainability. Thorium Energy is a safe long-term solution to raising our living standard, a reliable energy source capable of sustaining us far into the future. Therefore, Thorium Energy will play an important role in our future energy mix.
