Participation

The conference is intended for scientists, engineers, academicians, research students and industries working on various facets of thorium energy including nuclear reactor design, thermal hydraulics and safety, front end and back end of thorium fuel cycle, materials, components, and instrumentation and sensor development. The goal is to focus on technological challenges for harnessing thorium for power generation on commercial scale.

Fees and Registration

All ThEC15 participants must register and pay a full registration fee for participation in the conference. The deadline for advance registration with discounted fee is June 30, 2015. Registration will open in April 15, 2015. For payment details please refer to conference webpage. Conference registration will be considered after receipt of registration fee. The conference can host only 300 participants. To secure a place at the conference, we advise you to register at the earliest.

Overseas Delegates
On or Before June 30, 2015: Euro 250
After June 30, 2015: Euro 350

Indian Delegates
On or Before June 30, 2015: INR 10000
After June 30, 2015: INR 12000

Conference fee includes conference kit, one electronic and one printed copy of the conference proceedings, participation in all sessions, visits to exhibition and posters area, four lunches, conference banquette, conference social event, coffee/tea during the breaks and visits to BARC facilities at Trombay and Tarapur. Registration fees do not include hotel accommodations and transportation expenses. This registration fee is also applicable to Spouses and co-authors will also have to register separately to participate in the conference.

The following modes of payment are available for making payment towards registration fees. Please note that all Indian delegates are requested to pay in INRonly, and all other delegates are requested to pay in Euro.


(1) By Demand-draft/Bankers-Cheque

The Demand-Draft/Bankers-Cheque of the amount as per above table should be drawn in favor of "ThEC15" payable at "Mumbai".

On the back side of Demand-Draft/Bankers-Cheque write down delegate name and e-mail address to be used in Conference registration (see link below).

Refund Policy

All refund requests must be received in writing by October 1, 2015. Refund requests after the due date will not be entertained. A processing fee of Euro 50 (for overseas delegates) and INR 2000 (for Indian delegates) will be deducted from registration fee.
